From Innkeeper Jennifer- “We’ve dreamed of operating a B&B for 15 years. We used to live near a vacant, century-old home with gorgeous character. Tim is the dreamer of us two, and he is always thinking of business ideas, and he came up with the idea of turning it into a B&B. Well, that house ended up getting purchased by someone else, and we felt defeated. We decided to keep pursuing our dream, and that is when we found our 7-bedroom, 150-year-old home in Dundee. It was the perfect place for us! Our home has become a gathering place for family and friends, too. We have 3 children and 6 grandchildren, and we love to spend time with them. We also host our church’s annual “Fall Soup Fest”. It’s a fun time for all. We’ve made many memories in this home. When we are not running the B&B, we like to travel all around Michigan. I say my husband is an “in-state tourist”. He was born and raised in Michigan and grew up camping all over the state. He knows all the great spots to visit and loves to talk about them all. He also collects shirts, mugs, and hats from every place we go. When you meet him, he will probably be wearing some kind of tourist gear. For me, I absolutely love flowers. I love flowers outside, inside, everywhere. I can’t wait for spring. As soon as the weather breaks, I will be outside working in my gardens. When I am not working in my gardens, I like to do crafts with flowers.”
