Find a hotel, cabin, cottage or bed and breakfast in Eagle Harbor, Michigan

Situated on the tip of the Keweenaw Peninsula on Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Eagle Harbor is a delightful spot to enjoy outdoor recreation, historical sites, and peace and quiet. Plan a few days or a few weeks in an Eagle Harbor bed and breakfast and discover all this area has to offer.

Eagle Harbor is a quiet town now, with only a few hundred year-round residents. Once it was once a busy harbor. The Eagle Harbor Michigan Lighthouse is still lit, and still guides ships past these shores. Visit the dozen Michigan Lighthouses lining the coast of the Keweenaw Peninsula – our bed and breakfast innkeepers may be able to guide guests to their favorites.

An interesting addition to a Michigan Lighthouse tour is a trip to the Keweenaw Underwater Preserve. This protected area is the final resting place of over a hundred ships. Chartered shipwreck tours may also be arranged.

Visitors to the Keweenaw Peninsula will enjoy being outdoors throughout the year. In the summer, there is great hiking, biking, and swimming here, and the fishing is superb. In the fall, the colorful foliage takes breath away, making this a lovely time to stay at a bed and breakfast. Hike to the top of Mt. Lookout for breathtaking views of Lake Superior and the surrounding land.

The Keweenaw Peninsula may be at it’s finest when it is blanketed in snow. Mt Ripley and Mt. Bohemia are close to our bed and breakfasts, so there is both gentle and extreme downhill skiing here. Trails traversing the peninsula provide ample opportunities for cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, and even dog-sledding. Visit nearby Copper Harbor for Vintage Snowmobile Drag Races, and south to Houghton to see incredible ice sculptures during Michigan Tech’s Winter Carnival. Embrace the cold and all that it creates, knowing that there is always a warm spot by the fire waiting in one of our bed and breakfasts.
