East Tawas is a small but vibrant city on the mouth of Saginaw Bay, in Northeast Michigan. Or ask our bed and breakfast innkeepers to recommend a local Charter Fishing company. Anglers will be delighted by the wide variety of fish found in Lake Huron, Saginaw Bay, and Tawas Lake. The nearby AuSable River is a beautiful spot for fly-fishing and is full of brown and rainbow trout.

One of the largest groomed trail networks in Michigan – the Corsair Ski Trails – is close to East Tawas in the Huron National Forest. Spend days or weeks exploring the 56 kilometers of interconnecting trails, through open meadows and dense forests, up hills and down into valleys. Be sure to fill up on a delicious and nutritious breakfast at a bed and breakfasts before strapping on those skis!
