Stevensville is in Southwest Michigan, 45 minutes from South Bend Indiana, about an hour from Kalamazoo, and less than two hours from Chicago, Illinois. The Venetian Festival in St. Joseph is the largest community celebration in southwest Michigan. Live music fills three stages, sand sculptures amaze crowds, and fireworks fill the sky. This one is not to be missed.

Folks who enjoy getting out on the water will find many opportunities to do so in and around Stevensville. Rent a boat in St. Joseph and float down the St. Joseph River or out onto Lake Michigan. Bring a fishing pole for fun, or leave it behind and just relax. Harbor Isle Marina is in the middle of the St. Joseph River and a short walk from St. Joseph’s quaint downtown. This is a good place to find charter fishing or scenic cruises. It is also a good place to find moorage if traveling by boat, for it’s a short hop down to a Stevensville bed and breakfast.
