Grand Haven, Michigan, part of the Holland-Grand Haven metro area, is in Ottawa County. The city is where the Grand River empties into Lake Michigan. Grand Haven is a special place, but we will tell you about the most enchanting spot of allâŚthe Worldâs Largest Musical Fountain. This popular work of art was designed and patented by William M. Booth, II. In 1997, the Worldâs Largest Musical Fountain turned 35 years old. Some original volunteers who helped build the fountain were on hand to create 30 new programs for the Fountain to celebrate this special anniversary. There are up to 3,000 light and water movement changes in each 20-minute program. Each program minute involves one hour of programming the software for the display.
