Kristen & Shaun Wilson

A Little Bit Of History

Welcome! We are so grateful you found us. We’re Kristen and Shaun Wilson – mom and dad to Arletta, Zeke, and Maple, our sweet farm pups, Roxy, Fern, Blossom and our newest farm additions, horses Debbie and Cash. Oh, and lets not forget all of our farm chickens. After a long career teaching and coaching tennis as a USPTA professional, Kristen’s passion for promoting health, strength, and mental stability has continued to increase and evolved into a lifestyle rooted in simplicity and sustainability celebrated through yogic practices. Although, always a presence, yoga and its healing benefits and history have taken prominence for our family personally after coping with unforeseen health struggles and challenges for two of our three children. Through first-hand experience, Shaun and Kristen have witnessed the healing balance and clarity that yoga can provide. Now we yearn to share those offerings with a community through a welcomed invitation for exploration and self discovery at Rōming Roost, a rolling, natural Leelanau landscape intentionally crafted by Shaun as a labor of love to lay a foundation for mindful connection opportunities in appreciation of yoga, nature, and community to share with those who seek to rōm, rest, and renew.
