Matilda Dodge Wilson, the widow of auto pioneer John Dodge, orchestrated the estate’s construction. It is the fourth largest historic home in the country. During the holidays, visitors can enjoy the renown holiday walk through the mansion, which is decked in shimmering splendor. The Winter Wonder Lights transform the estate at night into a breathtaking light show featuring music and magic. Throughout the year, the museum and cultural center are open for tours.
