Only a ten-block walk from the resort, the South Haven Pierhead Light guides mariners into the Black River from Lake Michigan. The steel lighthouse, in operation since 1903, replaced a wooden one built in 1871. Victoria Resort is a great option for lighthouse collectors because you can travel 30 minutes south to see the St. Joseph North Pier inner and outer lights or 30 minutes north to view the Holland Harbor Light.
