The historic charm of the private Knob Hill area takes you back to the opulence of Flint in the mid-1920s when General Motors was booming. Our quiet, secluded neighborhood is convenient to downtown, to both I-69 and I-75, and to restaurants, hospitals, and shopping.
The 1926 colonial mansion was initially owned and occupied by a Buick executive and remained a private home until we opened it as a bed and breakfast in 2014. Although large, our B&B is intimate and inviting, and our guests find it a quiet respite from the busy world.

The birthplace of General Motors, the Buick and Sloan Historical Museums have wonderful exhibits that explore the evolution of the auto industry.
Throughout the summer, auto shows abound, with the largest, āBack to the Bricks,ā packing the downtown every August. Bronze statues of automotive pioneers dot the Downtown.
It has been 40 years since the brutal and courageous sit-down strike at Flintās Chevrolet Plant resulted in the formation of the United Auto Workers. You can visit the location of the strike and the memorial that has been erected there.
Factory 2, one of the original GM factories, was recently remodeled and now houses the General Motors archives and is open to the public.
