Let the amount of snowfall be your guide to choosing footwear for an exploration of the Paint Creek Trail (8.9 miles) or Polly Ann Trail (16.9 miles). Nordic Pineapple B&B, St. Johns. Seven suites, five with jetted tubs. Fill all the rooms with your friends, and ask the innkeepers to stage one of their clever, original Murder Mystery Weekends. Get your exercise on the trails at Hines Park, a 19-mile ribbon of green space along the Rouge River. Another good option for trails is Maybury State Park, which, for the adventurous, even has a mountain bike trail.
